Thursday 12th January – bike ** Around Felixstowe including lunch at the Trimley churches – cloudy with rain late.

Despite being breezy again and fairly mild I just did not fancy another windsurf with the wind WSW making it gusty and lumpy at Levington so I stayed at home and did my exercises. Then despite the windy gloom Mag and I decided to head out on our bikes in search of some snowdrops with the usual picnic packed:) Down to the prom and with a tail wind we whizzed to The Fludgers turning inland to Gulpher Road leading to Candlet Lane stopping at the twin churches at Trimley passing through some light rain too! The snowdrops are close to flowering now and I managed to get some pics of one clump of snowdrops in full bloom:) We did not stay too long before continuing to the huge green footbridge over the railway taking bridleways and lanes back to Felixstowe. Mag turns up past the massive Uniserve warehouse and home while I bike through the docks to the view point as the rain returns:( I take a few pics of a small container ship coming in before flying back along the quiet prom and home!
